  28.           ChkD reports disk drive space usage: cluster size, then drive

  35.           ChkM reports standard system memory (RAM) space usage: memory

  42.           ChkSp reports free space available in system RAM and on
  43.           specified or default drive.  Displays actual amounts along
  44.           with bargraphs of the percentages of total space.

  46.         CleanOut
  47.           CleanOut searches all directories of the default drive for
  48.           specified file(s).  At each matching file found, user is
  49.           prompted to Delete or Save.  File contents, either text or
  50.           binary, can be VIEWED before deciding.  A single press of the
  51.           "S" key saves a file; a double press of the "D" key deletes
  52.           it. Optional mode allows deletions without confirmation.
  53.           Useful for cleaning out .BAK file leftovers, among others.

  59.         CleanTxt (Clean_Text)
  60.           CleanTxt converts WordStar text files to straight ASCII.  It
  61.           strips out certain control characters, and will optionally
  62.           expand tab characters to the appropriate number of spaces.

  64.         CleanZ
  65.           Most editors don't read files beyond the first control- Z
  66.           end-of-file character.  Control-Z's can become embedded in a
  67.           text file when several files are combined using the DOS "type"
  68.           command.  CleanZ strips out each control-Z, or will optionally
  69.           replace each with a seldom-used character, to ease the task of
  70.           locating the former boundaries in combined files.

  72.         CurSet (Cursor_Set)
  73.           CurSet changes the shape of the text cursor.  Makes the cursor
  74.           easier to find on Liquid Crystal displays used in laptop/
  75.           notebook computers; works with any display.  Both command line
  76.           and interactive modes for setting the cursor to any shape from
  77.           a hairline to a full block.

  79.         DiskInit (Diskette_Initialize)
  80.           DiskInit erases all files and subdirectories on a 5.25 inch
  81.           362k DSDD diskette in about two seconds.  Does not initialize
  82.           marked bad sectors, but suggests reformatting instead.

  84.         ErrLev (Error_Level)
  85.           ErrLev is a utility for testing batch file "if errorlevel"
  86.           statements.  During testing, executable program calls are
  87.           commented out and replaced with "ErrLev nn", where nn is the
  88.           DOS errorlevel to be simulated.  The simulated errorlevel then
  89.           exercises branching commands in the batch file under test.

  91.         FindD (Find_Directory)
  92.           FindD searches the default drive for specified subdirectory
  93.           names, and lists the complete path to those found.

  95.         FindF (Find_File)
  96.           FindF searches the default drive for specified files, and
  97.           writes the file information to screen or disk. Useful for
  98.           locating misplaced files or for generating a listing of all
  99.           files and subdirectories on the default drive.

  101.         FreqCh (Frequency_of_Characters)
  102.           FreqCh performs letter-frequency analysis of text or binary
  103.           files; handles the full 256-character extended Ascii set.
  104.           Results are sorted in Ascii code order or frequency of
  105.           occurrence.

  107.         Gen (Generate_file)
  108.           Gen builds disk files of 0 to over 2 Gbytes using either
  109.           character mode or much faster file mode.  Can also send
  110.           characters directly to the console screen, printer or other
  111.           DOS device.  Useful for printer, storage and timing tests.

  118.           Text file INDEX word list utility.  Strips punctuation,
  119.           digits, whitespace, trivial words and words shorter than a
  120.           specified minimum, then writes remainder to disk file, one
  121.           word per line, with page number.

  124.           Responds to each press of a key or combination of keys by
  125.           displaying the key or combination pressed, its associated
  126.           Ascii character (if any), key type (normal or extended),

  151.           Qscr converts a single text screen to an executable file.  The

  157.           ScanF speeds up the search for ASCII text strings within
  158.           executable files.  Filters out the unintelligible control

  174.           Split breaks huge text files down into smaller ones that will

  180.           StoRm reports disk space required for storage of a specified
  181.           file or group of files on any disk, any DOS version. Locates
  182.           files specified on command line, determines their actual total

  187.           Asrt is a financial accounting utility used to assign dollar
